Lately, life definitely isn’t how I envisioned it. I had it all. The house, the job, the husband. Until one day, I didn’t. I don’t know when exactly things started to change between us, only that it did, and in a big way. So much so, I found myself standing before a judge and signing off on the end of my marriage. Why is it that you don’t know the depths of your mistakes until you’ve already made them? I knew signing those papers was a bad idea, but I thought that’s what she wanted. The minute we stepped foot out of that courtroom, it hit me. She’s no longer mine.
That’s when I also realized that I would do anything to change the past. I have so many regrets. Not her. I could never regret her, but how we ended. We never should have ended. I’m in for the battle of my life to convince her to give us another shot. I have a plan, one that will prove to her that it’s not over.

This is not my first read by either author, I am familiar with their writing styles. That said, let’s jump right in because not only is the cover GORGEOUS but this story is a bit different than your usual!
Not your usual because it kind of starts from the end. When that paper is signed separating Gwendolyn and Harrison not just with each other but in the eyes of the law and god…that’s that. The end…GAH my heart guys, this was hard to read because it’s so realistic. This book is the highlight of SECOND-CHANCE romances for so many reasons!
Even though his best friend Chase is an asshole, the man has a point, either move on or fight for her! Makes sense right, well in this case when you set your mind to something especially Harris…what will he do when a wrench is thrown in the situation. What follows in events of life, anger, passion, secrets, lies and love…in all the messed up ways, still love. You wait, you will be IN LOVE with the hero Harrison, his swooning is on another level!
I don’t want to give out to much but will say that it was a one sitting read for me and it was beautiful but also hard to read, again, something about it that grips you and keep you hanging until you jump or sink! I think I was little frustrated by Gwendolyn because of her reasoning, but then again I also understood it in a little form. It was a fight for me in this book, as far as the plot and story go that was very smooth and also the transitions. Very well written and I enjoyed it, I hope Chase is next!k p.s. GINA is a bitch!
