Well here we are NOT MY FIRST read by author’s and well probably not the last ๐ I will have to say going in and KNOWING this will be a cliffhanger, not sure if I rather know or not!
Alright let me first off tell you that if you have read Fox ladies before YOU KNOW when I say I was not ready for this I. WAS. NOT. READY. FOR. THIS. and the one that haven’t read them before, be prepared because it will blow you away. I also will say that this is by far MY MOST FAVORITE book (well duo) from them so far!!
This starts of a VERY FRIENDS-TO-LOVERS because Mason and Sophie are in the same group of friends therefore have know one another for a while now and of course being friends with the opposite sex you know a lot more than say a boyfriend would at that time. Let’s just say they have history together! So, the dynamic is very angtsy and at times frustrating at the beginning….but wait for it…..there is a BANG!
Sophie, oh dear Sophie why why why, she is in a tough situation with this Weston DOUCHE-A-HOLE-BAG-OF-SHIT yeah, that! I don’t even know how to continue but will say that this will pull at your heartstrings, good and bad way!
After a huge incident where Mason was and wasn’t at fault, how do they move on…painfully for both. They resume with their friendship even though you’ll be yelling at your kindle to GET TOGETHER ALREADY! This is on the high angst reads for me, drive me nuts. Actually Sophie drove me nuts at times, but in the end…i was just super scared and worried, so until Book 2 I don’t know what I’ll do. I can’t say more but will warn you that seriously I did not see THAT coming. Friendship, passion, moving on, life changing, beautiful and hurt…that’s the best way I can express this book! #cliffhanger #triggerviolence
