Not my first read by author, and this is me giving it another chance type of read. Don’t take it the mean way it’s just truth, I read one by the author and it was not my spice SO I always try and give it a couple of books or series chance to see if it’s just maybe one book.
I am at a 50/50 with this book because on one hand i love the story line and characters but on the other I can’t get the feel of the hero and heroine’s chemistry to work. Aiden is a man’s man but not the biker alpha type and at some points drove me nuts where Grace I really LOVED her and feel terrible for her and what she had gone through, for her to be the skittish woman she is in the story. But I am always honest in my review’s and when I say I wasn’t fully feeling it, I mean that from me. Maybe my expectations of a Biker Romance are too different or too high, but personally I just couldn’t put it all together.
Aiden and Grace are a opposite attract type of characters where, they shouldn’t e together but they fit so well, it’s impossible not to fall in love with their story. That’s the part I enjoyed the most the interaction between one another (even with the blotches as I call them) where I kind of went slow to make sure I understood it exactly. I love their dynamic when times get tough, Aiden is super protective of Grace and Grace has one of the biggest hearts. These two have so much history, and all these years apart obviously didn’t hinder the spark between them. Now as adults, there is so much more at stake (can’t say, no spoilers) but this is where all my problems lie I LOVE IT but I lose didn’t love it at that point.
Aside my craziness going through my head this story broke my heart, made me cry, cheered me up with tears, made me laugh and mended my broken heart. As much hard as it is sweet, charming characters and beautiful story.
