Not my first read by author and of course I have been following this series, so I am very familiar with all the side characters that include the previous book ones too. This is a sweet one because it has to do with little Samantha Watson and brothers best friend Leonardo!
When Broody lays on the guilt trip into having Leonardo be the fake fiancee for little Sam, Leo doesn’t think it’s a good idea. Then he goes and sees her for the first time in a very long time and boy, little Sam IS ALL GROWN UP. Of course, she manages to temp him into agreeing.
Sam: she was the geek as a child, smart and not popular. Leo saved her from embarrassment once when she was a freshman and he was a senior. Since then she grew up into a woman who is still young at heart and becoming into her own.
Broody: A sexy, handsome and smart man with a heart of gold, and a soft spot for little Sam. Someone who isn’t afraid to work hard at getting what he wants that is, but also confused on the fact that what he needs and wants are different.
In the end Broody has no idea what he got himself into, and no, not just with the whole playing a fake fiancee to little Sam. The whole thing didn’t sit right with him, and when Sam comes out with the truth, he was not expecting that. Now they must work together to help each other, but mostly Broody is helping Sam for his own selfish reasons.
Entertaining-Light Hearted-Sexy-Adventurous and Fun!! On the shorter side but plenty of punch!

I also have a little critique, until around 60% something felt off, I don’t know if it’s because it’s only from his POV and I needed that woman ‘what’s she thinking’ but I am 110% that’s what it was for me.
