Not my first read by author and I have read the first 2 books in the series which I LOVED! I don’t know where to start with this BEAUTIFUL book! I mean the more I read the author’s book the more I fall in love not just with the writing but with all the characters, especially this series!! Hand’s down the TOP FAVORITE of mine from this author!!
This is the story of Mark & Vivienne who is the best friend of Karrie married to Matthew who is on the same hockey team ask Mark. So she appeared in the previous books and I have always loved her in them, something about her. When I realized she would be getting her own story I couldn’t wait.
About the characters:
Vivienne: She is french but living in the states and called the states her home. She is rich but also works for a new paper column that no one but her best friend knows about. She is a woman who has it all but is in pain. The memory of what she went through shaped her into the woman she is today. A no more than 4 sexual encounters or it get’s to complicated. She likes to flavor and isn’t afraid to speak her mind and be up front [my kind of woman].
Mark: Mark is the Hockey Team’s Goalie but also a business man, meaning the man is richer than God it seems. He has been making smart money decisions since day one and today he stands to have whatever he wants, and that whatever is Vivienne [the un-touchable]. Mark is from a Greek family and half Italian, so bet your ass that he is not only tall and handsome but gorgeous, sexy with a beard and a heart of gold. The “traditional” man sense. [Also MY type of man]
The story starts of with a heartbreak and all the painful feelings you can imagine. Vivienne is the receiver of this pain, again shaped her who she is today. When she run’s into Mark LITERALLY he doesn’t hesitate to ask her to out. She figures since it’s been a while for her, she would just jump on it and leave. One night with PM [Private Mark] and she thought it would be enough, their kiss was MAGICAL and their night, something only one can dream of. But she would never say that out loud, she has never felt this way before and wasn’t sure what to do. Hell she though she was dying. What’s a girl to do? Well scratch her itch and call it good!! Mark had other plans!!
The other plans Mark had only lead him to heartbreak, well heartbreak for everyone you see, PM had one thing in mind while Vivienne had another…or so she told herself at least. When push comes to shove will Vivienne be able to let go finally?
