Not my first read by the author, I have already read this from the Cards Of Love collection but now it states there is more and it’s been edited. So I was excited to see it all!
This is a captivating and beautiful story! The author has a way with words that draws you in and you forget where you are. One of the perfect second-chance friends-to-lovers books!!
Kaitlynn and Oliver has know each other since they were five years old. She always seemed to be very protective of Oliver, even if she was younger. When they started growing up, things changed of course. Olive did not like a girl fighting for him, kids grow up and shift and drift apart. It’s a story of a girl who had a mom and dad and a loving home and a boy who had a broken family. Beautiful and painful all in the same. Little Kit Kat and Ollie-pop!
As they grow up there are various stories at various times. Different life achievements and incidents…it’s quiet exciting reading about them all. It’s a very long FRIENDZONE situation between the two, always wrong timing, wrong place…it seems even after 12 years when are back in the same place things can’t seem to fall into place. Are they going to be able to use the background they have as good and finally make it?
Captivating shorter read! Lot’s happening but will keep you on your toes! Beautiful story!!
