Not my first read by author, but it is only my 2nd book. I received a wonderful and adorable package from author & pub company [ Entangled Publishing ] and was super excited about it. The blurb is what got me originally. I was excited to have some Christmas in the summer!!
Now this is the same for me as for the first book I read by author, it started off a little slow for me. It did pick up around 37% and BOY DID IT PICK UP! I was alright with the slow too but I think once it picked up, I couldn’t put the book down. The characters become alive and their FAKE-RELATIONSHIP comes out blazing. I really loved them both and their chemistry and bickering, and yelling and the sweetness… Suzanne and Grady were really meant for one another they just had to cross a few ‘obstacles’ to get there. The artists in Suzy is beautiful and her quirkiness and just all around cute.
That’s how I’d lean towards in this book, a fun and cute read about a pretend couple, parents who are nosy and loud and a lot of adventure. Definitely something lighter to read if you’re looking for it!
