Not my first read by author & I have read one previous book in the series, see this is a multiple book series. There are 4 others before this, two of which are novellas. Now I enjoyed INSTANT GRATIFICATION BUT this one took the cake for me.
What happens when you pair a Divorce Attorney & a Wedding Planner? You didn’t guess it if you thought enemy-to-lovers…it’s a complicated combination of EVERYTHING I’d say! Zach & Pipper…a single dad and a woman who is head-strong and competitive. When they are paired together to plan their best friend’s engagement party…all bets are off! Pipper didn’t expect to be falling for his children, or for her to see a side of Zach maybe no one has, while Zach the man who worries about his children day in and out, is not sure what to do with feelings he hasn’t felt in a very long time. As much laughter and fun this was, it was so much more in depth. The romance is shattering!
Not everything you see in a person IS the person! There are many reasons people hide behind a persona, and many reasons people don’t confirm nor deny when someone is speculating about them. What was so beautiful in this the chemistry and actions between hero and heroine! It was romantic in the realEST! I don’t know how else to express it, yes the children played a huge deal to me too…absolutely heartbreaking and so beautiful the way Pipper is with them…this one just came together so well!
