I hate Drew Woods, and she hates me.
Even so, I’m not the cold jerk most make me out to be, and I have no problem moving the single mom and her baby into my home. I do, however, draw a line when it comes to acting on the way her loose lips make me feel.
Alive.
She’s too mouthy, too prying, and her curves are way too distracting.
I might have lost my way after a nearly fatal car accident, but I’m not stupid. Giving in to Drew would be a short-lived fix for this pain I’m saddled with, and I knead something permanent.
I’d be insane to think what we have could be anything other than temporary…right?

Not my first read by the author, I LOVED all her books so far & I was excited to see that she was doing a SINGLE-PARENT one and I knew I would get everything Teagan plus MORE….SO MUCH MORE!
What you get is two head-strong alpha hero and alpha heroine…a single-mother taking care of herself from day one and now doing her best to do THE BEST for her son. The two characters couldn’t be more oposite, day and night. Their bickering, the anger for one another…it’s a fine line between foreplay and actual hate. The characters are all TEAGAN if that makes sense, if you’ve read her before you’ll know if not…basically the style of the author…all TEAGAN!
Winston is broken…I mean that in every way. He is struggling to find himself again after an incident occurred that left him hollow. From then on everyone has an idea of who he is when in reality it’s something else and more in every way. Drew is a single mom who is very VERY headstrong because she’s had to be. She is struggling, IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE. But doing her best to make ends meets. Working at the Pizzaria that Weston and his family own, has gotten her something…but she is looking for more. When Winston demands something from her, she doesn’t accept it but is willing to because of the situation. Winston hides that big heart of his, can Drew realize it before it’s too late for both of them?
They both run HOT AND COLD…the hostility between them is kind of fun and sexy at the same time. As much of a light and fun read this is it has hidden compartments of sorrow and pain. It’s a READ BETWEEN THE LINES type of book, for me at least. I enjoyed it from chapter 1 to the end. Teagan has a way with words and her characters, including the side ones too. She tells a story that captivates you from the beginning. Another AMAZING read!!
