NEW to me author & books! The blurb and of course cover is what caught my eye on this! I also wanted to try something new and I also have been hearing about this author as well.
Damien is a man that is not only carrying a huge burden but older and jaded. Everything after and thus far has been just to be alive and live. When he met Leigh, a fire that was long out sparked again. Their first kiss was beautiful, accidental but ever so beautiful and sweet. Damien wants to let go but had a hard time distinguishing the past to future as well as thinking he is good enough for Leigh. And Leigh is the type of woman that may be sweet but she has one of the biggest hearts. Watching these two go through a lot separately and then together, it’s really how chemistry between two people should be. Natural and takes your breath away type.
For this being my first read by the author I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it very much. Little different writing style but that’s natural with it being my very first, and I have to say that I will be reading more by this author.
