I don’t know where to start with this but let’s start at the beginning, where out hero has waited 12 long years for his revenge. When he is free to plan his revenge, nothing can come in his way. He is ruthless, big, muscular, tattooed, experienced in surviving, a cold blooded man. A shell of his former self, something he thinks he deserve after everything.
In comes, no scratch that (pun intended) our heroine didn’t just walk in but split through that big door, shattering it to pieces. A broken woman only out looking to make better for her family, whatever the means. That’s all she has left after-all. She is someone that is feisty, strong, sassy, vulnerable and has a big heart she doesn’t believe in. When she runs into a man that has the most special eyes she has ever seen, covered in tattoos and a permanent scowl on his face…her savior. Except he isn’t the hero, he is the villain.
This is dark, savage, dangerous, murder, sex….in all the right places. The hero and heroine are a match made in hell, the circumstances will have you glued to the pages, it’s relatable, you’ll want to throw your kindle a few times, yet it captivates you like nothing else. I want to say that I was okay after the CLIFFHANGER and this book, BUT. I. AM. NOT. I have yet to pick up another book because I want to message the author and cry to give me more. What a heart wrenching ending to this book 😦 I can not wait for Book #2 it’s killing me….damn you anticipation!
