One drunken night after a wedding, has Javi Flores reminding himself why he can never do this again, why he can’t have normal because not only is he under pressure job wise but in a nasty custody battle with his ex. Of all people to wake up next to it had to me his nemesis Aerin Stone. Aerin which by the way is a beautiful name but my heart goes out to her, not only does she have her walls up but she is so guarded not sure anyone can break in. Hahah but little do they both know, fate is about to throw a curve ball and given them plenty of chances to meet again, only making their growing attraction they both keep denying to one another that much stronger every time.
Favorite part about the characters is that they are well lived, in their early 40s and mature, funny and just feel real. The banter between them seemed more real to me, stronger and let’s not forget their chemistry and how sizzling this is. Very sizzling!! I would most definitely read more of the author ad in this series!
