R E V I E W ➠ Mine To Save by Kennedy L. Mitchell
Her tragic destiny was written long before he came into town.
Ellie doesn’t technically exist. Raised within the Texas town’s infamous cult compound, she managed to escape only to realize she’ll never be truly free. Every day is difficult to survive, but she does without complaint, keeping a low profile until a killer unsettles the community by leaving a trail of dead women in his wake. When a sexy FBI agent storms into town, her body and hormones thrum on overdrive, making her wonder if there’s more to life than simply getting by.
FBI profiler Chandler Peters is exhausted, annoyed, and in desperate need of a vacation that will have to wait. An urgent call comes from a friend, leading him to Texas to help hunt for a serial killer. What he doesn’t expect is an eccentric local to catch not only his eye but his heart too. Her mysterious past, wit, and hidden scars speak to him unlike any other. When all the evidence points to Ellie being in danger, Chandler races to find the killer before the woman who makes him live again becomes the next victim.
As Chandler fights to protect Ellie from the fate she seems to be destined for, the two grow close as the days pass and the case builds. But will it all be enough when the killer who wants her for his own hides in plain sight, always watching and waiting for the perfect moment to take back what’s his?

Not my first read byt he author, and I have read every single one of her books! This series GAH I have been waiting for this! I love this series and this book really emotionally threw me everywhere!
I don’t know where to begin with this but I guess with a warning that this may not be for the faint of the heart. It does emotion and in regards to rape, there is killing and it’s a dark twist with the alpha hero romance. I loved everything about this, even the bad because that’s when the hero and heroine shone. Where the heroine is very broken, went through so much trauma and things that a child and young adult should never have, the hero is a deep soul broken. You wouldn’t think to put that type of heroine with a hero that has a dark side, even when it comes especially when it comes sexually. But these two saved each other!
Everything about each characters was amazing, well written and captivating. In this one for me it was the way the hero was emotionally and alpha and sexually as well as the heroine who maybe at times I was frustrated with her but once I found out the full truth, wow looking back I envy her for being able to be so strong and live on. The ending will have you in tears and happiness!
