Not my first time reading this author, it’s a 50/50 for me with her and I was very excited about this, but unfortunately it was not my favorite. I don’t tend to love the ‘fling’ tropes and I thought well I’ve read this author before and wanted to give it a go. It was a heavy doze of fling and I don’t like it because it tends to be in the fine line of hero or heroine dating or seeing other people. Although this was a quick read and very very steamy I will say that! Also, NO EPLIGOGUE and that kind of made it even worse for me.
We have the hero Grant a Yoga Instructor and owner of the company and the heroine Ariel who is a normal hard-working woman who only dates suit-guys. In comes Grant who offers her a ‘fling’ with no strings attached, they already have a chemistry between one another, why not indulge. They play on that line a lot of times, it’s exciting new and thrilling to Ariel and even thought it wasn’t easy for her to open up like that, she was starting to really like the outcome. The only thing now is; will they both be able to walk away like nothing ever happened? More like will they be able to step from the hidden into the world together!
