R E V I E W ➠ Bitter Rival by L.M. Fox

BLURB

Sebastian Lee is a self-serving playboy.
Arrogance personified.

There’s no need for clever seduction. He merely circles his prey, just waiting to take a bite.
With his sinfully handsome looks and confidence to match, I’ll take a swim.
It’s just one night, right? This single mom has needs too.
Until suddenly, you discover the surgeon you’re working with is the shark in blue scrubs.
And he doesn’t realize it’s you.

Our explosive connection is no longer limited to the bedroom.
This is not the kind of man you bring home to meet your son. We’ve endured enough.
Yet these are treacherous waters.
Is it purely lust that brings me back for more?
Our chemistry is undeniable.
The passion unparalleled.
Is there a hope for a future with this deliciously dangerous man, driven to win at any cost?
Or is this relationship one more betrayal in the making?

NEW to me author. I picked this up after the author send me a few of her signed paperbacks. I liked the blurb and couldn’t wait to read.

Sebastian the hero is super swoony, hard working, sexy, smart and a little bit of a player. Once you find out why he holds back, your heart will feel for him. Isabella the heroine is a strong woman, a mother, compassionate, real, sweet and too beautiful but has no idea how beautiful. This story is a cat & mouse chase story, there is stubbornness and thinkcheaded-ness I’m also sure that last word in here is not a word but I made it up so go with it. I have not read the previous books or any book from this author to be specific so I got a little glimpse of wanting to read more from this author. I will say that I did not see the twist coming at the end so I was taken back, but it was the good kind of twist.

Looking forward to reading more from this author!
