This is a NEW to me author that I think I saw on a recommendation while I was looking for another book, it all started with the first book Master Z and the blurb just called to me then I went in and FELL IN LOVE and here we are Book #7 late, I am still in love but THIS ONE is kind of a special one for me. It’s so raw and emotional but in the most sizzling and sexy way, the romance just gives you butterflies, the interactions between the H & H really just is all so well together. The author did a fantastic job on tackling some hard life experiences and events that will make your feelings burst. ONE OF THE BEST BDSM books I have read and would highly recommend this book but also the whole series. AND THERE IS 15 OF THEM, yes I said 15 books!
That said the Hero here Sam is actually a average man, well not physically but he owns a ranch, has various things that he dabbles into but also is a Master at the Shadowland’s Club and a Sadist. I will tell you right now I honestly did not realize how much of my own kink a Sadist is but holy shit, this book will either bring that out in you or you will just simply enjoy it for it has all of the check marks! What’s even the best part is that the characters are so funny, real, quirky and just you’ll love reading them!
Now let’s get to the part where some may trigger on. It does include slavery, rape, beatings that do not involve a kink and so forth. Real life trauma that one might have gone through. The author does a fantastic job on explaing everything including the good and the bad. I would have to say that to me personally I don’t have that trigger but it was for sure a learning experience. The heroine is so strong and the Hero is the best kind of man.
Shall I get to the kink? UM YESSS, I don’t even know how to explain it to anyone it just the butterflies, the need feeling, the sex, the kink and the words….and the after care cuddles *swoon*
