Not my first read by the author or the last. I love this series I truly could read on forever. This one is one that took me until middle to end to connect. For me in this, it was mainly the heroine, but obviously once you read more of her things made sense and I started to connect and feel her. I did love and not expect this one to be so STEAMY! WHOA!
The heroine is very independent, strong and outspoken. The hero is older, been in the game for a long time & had a rough childhood. They actually already met but when they meet again, the heroine outsmarts him with her words. This relationship is a lot based on sex, yes I know you’re like so what you’re crazy that’s good, but in this one it detached the feelings a little. They have crazy chemistry, she knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to voice it and he may be broken but deep down no one really knows him. Very sweet story with a shock affect!
