Not my first read by the author and I was slightly nervous about this one, I love this author so I want to love anything she writes and so took me a hot minute to pick this up with all my nerves about it. SO GLAD I DID because I could not put it down and I can’t wait for more!!!!
This was not what I expected. I had a whole other picture in my mind and it was a pleasant surprise! I will say that it took me longer to fully warm up to the heroine but she was quirky in her own ways.
Fresh from a break up that was a long time coming and needed to be done seems years ago, the heroine isn’t on the prowl for a rebound but her bff convinces her to go out. There she meets a man that makes her feel all kinds of confident. The next morning, all she has to remember him by is his drink and the Starbucks. Little did she know she would be walking into her promotional job and seeing the hero….in three. Yes the hero is part of triplet brothers! It was a lot of fun to watch her try to figure out which one was her Starbucks guy but in the end she is not surprised but little pissed off he wanted to keep it a secret and had no plants to tell her. Well all of her new confident thanks to the hero, she has a plan. After all they are stuck in paradise together. The hero has secrets and carries a chip on his shoulder or rather a promise he made. Which by the way WILL HAVE YOU CRYING YOUR EYES OUT. The chemistry between these two is beyond attraction, more like souls meeting. The hero is sexy, arrogant, funny, charming and has the biggest heart and dirtiest mouth! The heroine is strong, trying to find herself, sweet, quirky and beautiful. You won’t know what’s coming in this story, it’s full of surprises, heat and romance. The ending HAVE TISSUES READY!
