RELEASE DATE: April 12, 2022
Not my first read by the author or last. I have read all the books in this series as well as the inter-connected previous ones (the OGs) so I am very familiar with this one and this one HIT THE HEART full force!
Dylan the hero is adopted into the family, so he has been around Alex since he was a young boy. They grew up around each other, in the hockey world and all around their family. So when Alex can no longer hold it back, she tries to forget about Dylan. He of course has no idea what she is feeling because he is fighting his own feelings for her. They end up at the family vacation they all take yearly and things well lines get blurred and words get said. More the action if anything. When Alex runs back home, she has not idea then that it was the best decision she could have made. Dylan has some huge decision to make himself and one that could break the whole family.
I am going to stop with my review there because if I continue, I’ll just end up giving it all out. This will bring you to your knees and tears. Beautiful broken story between two souls that have the equal size heart and problems they share. Worth to dive into, I would recommend reading their parents stories first of course especially Dylan’s.
