R E V I E W ➠ Always Mine by Laura Pavlov

He fights fires for a living, but the flames building between us may be too big to extinguish.
Niko West is the most beautiful man I’ve ever laid eyes on.
Six feet, four inches of broody, chiseled Greek god in a firefighter suit.
He’s also been my best friend since kindergarten.
He always says the only solid thing in his life is our friendship.
He’s Honey Mountain’s favorite player and I’m what you’d call a relationship girl.
But when I find myself single for the first time since turning sixteen, I make Niko an offer he can’t refuse.
Who better to show me what I’ve been missing?
But now that we’ve crossed that line, I don’t know if friendship is enough for me.

RELEASE DATE: April 21, 2022

NEW to me author and books! I have been supporting her for a while now and finally dived in one of her books and perfect timing since it’s the beginning of a series one. I really enjoyed this friends-to slow burn turned spicy!

The hero is truly a hero, fights fires, helps everyone and takes care of his family. He and the heroine have know each other since they were little and in fact the heroine used to save the hero. Rought upbringings but came out of it an amazing man. Has a little sister and niece that he loves, and a mother that in my eyes is questionable due to the father in the family. The heroine is one of 5 daughters, loosing her mother devastated all of them but her dad is one of the best men I can say! He is the fire chief at the same station the hero is at. They are best friends and neither of them wants to cross that blurred like that’s been forming for years. Until the heroine had enough after she finds her ex-fiancé in bed with another, that same one that send a family invitation to his wedding to the woman he cheated on with. When the heroine propositions a friends-with-benefits to the hero he is not willing to loose it all. In the end will he loose it all anyways?

That is where I am leaving my review. I will say that you will need tissues, swoon hard, be on the edge of your seat, there is action, laughter and family. It’s really a beautiful start to a new series (for me it’s all brand new) and I am looking forward to more. p.s. the hero is a broody MF but to his heroine *swoon swoon swoon*

*For my fellow readers that are mood readers and dislike a certain criteria as me, there is some dating involved by the Heroine here (nothing ever happens thank god) but just be prepared, it’s a little bit of a rough rode to realization!
