Not my first read by the author. I have also read all the books in the series. I have been waiting for this one because the hero and heroine are siblings on Book #5
I loved this book from page one. The original meet, the realization and the heartbreak. Then came the suspense and mystery. The hero is swoony, strong, sweet, funny, sexy and knows how to show his affection. The heroine may have started off on the wrong foot but what was she supposed to do. Now that she is in danger, she has no one to turn to, well that’s not true she does but her heart leads her to the right door. These two together are so sweet, the looks, the sweet but heated kiss. I will say that you will fall head over heels in love with the hero and his swoony-ness (yes thats a word). There is action, romance and suspense that will keep you on your toes. EVEN some additional POV’s from the side characters. Kelly really left this one to the end to end it with a bang (no pun intended, or is it?) The hero is the town’s cop and the heroine is a smart and beautiful glaciologist. They may be opposite but the attraction is so sweet! I am sad to see the end to this series but I can always re-read and it will happen in the near future. I would say read in order, each book has it’s own meaning and style.
This one contains a hero that not only is sexy, tough and strong but sensitive who reads Jane Austen books (he also reads to the heroine *swoon*) a dog named CAT (just wait till you read the reason behind the full name) romantic picnics, romantic bath drawn by the hero and all the sizzles.
