Kristen Porby ➠ Lighthouse Way

(Huckleberry Bay #1)

BLURB

Luna Winchester’s life is firmly entrenched in the coastal town of Huckleberry Bay, Oregon. A fourth-generation lightkeeper, Luna is carrying on the Winchester tradition by tending to the lighthouse. Plus, she’s decided to renovate a long-abandoned building on the property and make it a B&B, Luna’s Light. Surrounded by family and her two childhood best friends, her life is full.
Wolfe Conrad is in hiding, and he’s come to Huckleberry Bay to heal. A career-ending accident on the track nearly took his life, and now he seeks refuge to try and build a new one. The quaint town’s slow pace rattles the man whose first love is fast cars—and then there’s the beautiful innkeeper, who rattles him in different ways.
Falling in love with Luna definitely isn’t part of Wolfe’s plan. Local legends that tell of unrequited love and despair? Unbelievable. But stranger things have happened, like two strangers falling in love…

Not a new read for me, I am very excited for this new series. This was so sweet and cute and I enjoyed not only H&H but also the side characters. Looking forward to more.

When a famous and living life in the fast lane hero has a injury and can no longer do what he loves as a career, he moves back to his old town to settle…or think…or whatever he needs to do to help him settle. He runs into his childhood friend who is no longer a girl but a beautiful, the most beautiful woman he has seen. They don’t live far from one another and when sparks fly…so does a little bit of mystery and danger. All the side characters are so much fun to read along, the heroine has 2 best friends that we kind of get a little bit of and I hope they both get their story. All the characters are friends and have known one another for a while. I don’t like the ending not because of what happens but because its one where we kind of get the couple in the next book, so no epilogue but I am really looking forward to more. The chemistry between the H&H is off the charts both in and out of the bedroom. They just feel like they belong together. And I loved their coming together and everything that they go through in order to have a future.
