Not my first read by the author and I don’t think I will ever want to stop. THIS SERIES is everything and some so far, every single book was a TOP READ for me and this one fell into the TOP 2022 MUST MUST READ! I loved everything from page one.
The awkwardness of the heroine and hero, not in a bad way but in a cute way I couldn’t stop falling in love with them. These two have been friends since middle-school and both have their own unique quirk about them. The heroine is not shy but a little awkward, nerdy and well suffers from bloody noses. She also kind ooooof gets a little word vomit when under pressure and blurs out that she is married to a hot billionaire. Of course the hero comes up because he indeed is a hot billionaire and one of her best friends, so it’s fine. RIGHT?! Well things move really fast after that, they both get caught up in the lie but also try to have some fun with it. When they blur lines and things turn…heated…and when I say heated I mean if you’re into the nerd who is hunky but little awkward and turns alpha in the bedroom…yea, might want to run to read this one! That said, things turn for the better, they are so sweet together and just fill one another’s missing pieces…I think. This entire story will give you all the feels, keep you captivated and just want to read every single word. I couldn’t not love both of them, the side characters, a little more insight the Mack family which is Book #1 in this series. I can’t wait for more and I can’t say it enough, I now want to re-read the entire series because this just gets better and better.
Friends-To, Fake-Engagement, Slow-Burn but a SIZZLING ONE! It really is true when they say best-friends do make the best lovers! Felicity & Hutton are the perfect pain, in many ways!
