Not my first read by the author and I have read the other books in the series. And I don’t want this series to ever end!!!!!!!!! Also can’t wait for Miller’s book because that will be something, that ending in this…he is in the dog house before it all even starts!
Age-Gap Sports Romances are officially my favorite. You have the Hero Smith who’s been in the game for a long time, grumpy and growly, an amazing hockey player. And the heroine Emilia who also works for the same team, working her way up, working her ass off if anything! These two actually met once before, and it was the best weekend for the both of them, they just neve admitted it out loud. That said, couple years later when Emilia gets tasked with an event she also did previous year, she isn’t sure how good of a idea it is to be near him again. They have been doing a great job avoiding each other for years. I don’t want to give out more, I want to just say it all but I won’t because it may seem like ‘yea i know where this is going’ but YOU. DO. NOT. These two have this chemistry that sizzles and just you feel the love, and can’t help falling in love with them.
If you want emotions, sizzle and lot’s of banter/sarcastic fun…this is for you. I will say that this was STEAAAAMY! I loved everything about it, especially their connection. The story line was perfect for them & I never wanted it to end!
