Not my first read by the author. And each book I say this was amazing I loved it and it does not stop. Amy is just one of the queens of romance for me and always will be. This beauty made it on my TOP 2022 MUST READ!
This was intense from the get go. Both H&H share a history and have some strong feelings towards each other, and not the butterfly kinds…yet. The heroine is actually married to another man in this and I won’t lie that kind of made me angry but unfortunately she was in a situation she only knows how to be in. It’s a pull and push between H&H this whole book, angst through the roof. That said this has a dark side to the story, as sexy as it is it’s equally dangerous. These two people who once were something were separated by greed and hate. Logan really is the swooniest hero here, after everything that has happened that he believes he still goes out of his way and probably for a lot more reasons to try and save her. The heroine is really resistant, she knows what she needs to do to keep things the way they are. It’s for a reason but both of them until they either confront each other or find out, it’s a hard road they have to pass to get to the end.
