Not my first read by the author and she happens to be my all-time top fav author, so I have read all of her books and probably re-read them a hundred times. That said when I got this, I WAS SO EXCITED! So, this story is Until May Hero’s sister. There was a rough start to her so I was nervous, but we got a little glimpse of her from UNTIL MAY which I would highly recommend reading as well.
Heroine is starting over; she left her cheating husband and is going to make it on her own. Or so she thinks. The first outing after everything that had happened, she gets car jacked and who shows up as form of law, her brother’s best friend Noah who she has always had a crush on. Noah is brave, strong, sexy and very sweet. He has the sweetest spot for Bridgett and it will melt your heart. When the lines blur nothing else in the world matters. But danger and well life keeps popping up so these two really have to work at it to make it to the same road. What I loved about this is that the heroine was different, strong yes but also in need of a hero and Noah is the perfect one. Big scary guy that has a soft spot for his heroine and saves her in many ways. Just so so so sweet!!! This is a novella of course so it’s shorter, a lot of things happen, and you still get all the punch. I wouldn’t be mad if we accidently got a full length one somehow in secret from Aurora or something haha just saying, it was that sweet and I love H&H together. Sweetest HEA and a lot of fun, romance and emotion in between!
