Not my first read by the author. I have read a lot to know I love her writing style and this will be a first of Holiday Themed style book I’ve read by Kelly! And yes I am going to gloat but I got to meet Kelly and her wonderful husband at the Bookbonanza 22′ and had a fun and enjoyable long sitting with both of them that I could probably do every day and she is well AMAZING, down to earth and just an amazing person in person! Will i remind everyone in every review of Kelly going forward, yes for at least the rest of this year 🙂
This was so much fun to read! I really am not big into holiday reads and in general but this one got me hooked. From the beginning I knew it was going to be interesting because of the heroine’s family but then you throw in a life long secret crush who she has been budding heads with and it all made it even better. The hero is fun, sweet and a total hunk. He also secretly has been in love with his heroine for a long time but all they ever did was compete and go against each other. When a spell goes wrong and the heroine feels terrible, secrets and feelings come out and neither H or H know what to do with that. But what fun it was to find out.
It does end of a cliffy, but the next installment of this couple is Christmas and I can’t wait to read it. It’s a quick read and a fun one.
