Between home and Burgers and Brew, I keep myself plenty busy, despite my dad’s insistence I give dating another try. It’s not that I wouldn’t mind it, I just barely have any time to myself, let alone making room for another.
Then I find Leo Martinez sitting at the end of the bar.
He’s guarded and a little rough around the edges, but I can’t stay away. There’s a darkness in his eyes that speaks of pain, yet I only see the amazing man he tries to hide from the world.

Not my first read by the author and I have read all the books in the series. This one was a little mysterious and a lot of heart!
This was such a special book! I felt everything through this, all the motion, pain, the romance and connection. The heroine came back to be with her father who is in her eyes needs help, if you ask him, he is fine. That said she is back at the horse ranch she grew up in. This is a grumpy to her sunshine romance. As much as the hero tries to stay away from her, he just can’t. There is so much sweetness in this, pain and the romantic side of a book, everything kept me engaged. The heroine is the sweetest and kindest, with baggage and fear. The hero is content living his life and having it be the same. But fate has other ideas! The hero start helping out at the ranch mainly with one horse specifically and it’s so beautiful. There is a adorable little lost puppy that is involved and so many beautiful memories. Really loved this whole series but I can say that this one was one of my favorites.
