This is a NEW to me author & I got the chance to meet her in person at the Denver book signing and she is the sweetest human! That said I really enjoyed this book, I think it’s going to take me a few more books to fully get used to her writing style but it kept me intrigued and I wanted to keep going, to know more to discover.
What I really loved was the connection between Blake and Gemma! I am not usually a big fan of celebrity and famous H&H but this one was so cute. Blake is under pressure by his lifestyle as a screen writer and Gemma has her own problems to deal with, waiting for her grandpa to hand over the reins. When these two meet it’s the cutest thing and I loved them together instantly. Gemma is unexperienced when it comes to relationships or men thanks for her broody brothers who have kept everyone at bay, buy Blake is not a quitter and he is a man that knows what he wants and goes after it. Their adventure was beautiful and I def enjoyed the spicy scenes in this. wink wink to the author, girllll!!
