Not my first read by Corinne. She is a top fav of mine and I was excited for this 2nd Gen CrossOver for a long time! I knew this was going to be steamy, hot and fun! And that it was!
I didn’t know who I fell in love with first I think it was equal and just LOVED the MMC & FMC so much! Together they were a ticking time bomb and apart they were skilled, smart and ruthless! When they end up working on the same deal Cayden knows that Hadley is a damn good lawyer and one he can’t just persuade that easy. Doesn’t help that they share history. A bumpy one at that. So he gives it his all even knowing that it won’t be easy but nothing worth having is. These two are like a time ticking bomb and when it went off, absolutely worth it all. This is a mix and mash of some of my favorite books from Corinne. That said this is a novella and of course I craved more but this packed a punch enough to keep me satisfied.
