Not my first read by the author, I am obsessed with her and her books! Have read them all and have all the paperbacks. So I have been excited for Fitz story because this one was different but in the best way! Voyeurism & Cam Girl!
This was a mix of one shy hero and one outgoing love herself heroine but both happen to have huge secrets and insecurities that can only be handles and mended by one another. The hero is the sweetest cutest man, with his missing tooth smile and all. Who HAPPENS TO BE VERY KINKY and into voyeurism, that’s how he kind of meets the heroine, she happens to be the cam girl who he watches. His secret is something that I knew would bite him in the ass and her secret just happens to be transparent but equally I felt her pain and embarrassment and the struggle with loving your body and self and having the self doubts.
What I loved about this book was the connection, it’s a huge thing I look for when reading, if I can’t feel the connection between H&H the story line is just that, a story line written AND not felt. The shyness and a little awkwardness from the hero really just highlights his kink and the need and love her has for the heroine. These two definitely do not have a conventional meet cute and go through a lot of obstacles before they can get to the good but that alone just make their story even better. This one did feel a little different than that I am used to from Teagan but in the best way possible, not sure I could read anything by the author and not love it. It did fall into my TOP 2023 MUST READ list and I would recommend this book and series to everyone!
