NEW to me author and books! I was drawn to this by the blurb and of course the cover is pretty awesome too!
This one was SUPER emotional and the angst, pain but so sweet at times and romantic. The hero Shane is actually married in this, his wife not only tells him that she wants a divorce but also leaving him for another man. The worse part of all this isn’t so much the pain from that but the pain from losing her all together, from a car accident. I was a mess with all this. All the questions he had will forever be left unanswered. The heroine is the estranged sister of his dead wife, Kate. I can’t explain how I felt about her, it was a 50/50 something I couldn’t fully connect with her. Needless to say these two were very REAL and the events, something that you will keep reading faster to find out what happens.
Courage, faith, loss, grieve, second-chance and passion in all the senses. I would warn you that this is SLOW BURN and a painful one at that. Single Dad / Widower trying to figure out how to love again, how to give his heart.

Not my first by the author. The blurb is what caught my eye on this one and of course the world this is being written in.
Kain and Leontine are a unique batch of characters to me that is. I couldn’t fully connect with them, but will say that the author did a great job word wise and story line wise. The hero and heroine has a night of fun and wild…that resulted in a baby, a baby one of them didn’t know about. Years later when they are in the same place at the same time, Kain is the firefighter saving their lives…things get messy and complicated. It’s definitely worth the ride to take, lots of emotions and a mix of fun and sexy.

NEW to me author and books! I am usually not one for Political or Star Romance but I wanted to throw myself out there plus I heard some good thing about it prior to singing up.
This is a love story where the hero and heroine DO NOT DO LOVE, they are both focus on their career and lives to want anything romantic involved. The hero is a smart, handsome, sexy, arrogant at times a-hole but in alpha way man and the heroine is a woman of the screen, front row always, plastering a different face…even if she loves it, she does have doubts on what she does. Ethan and Maya as characters were perfect for one another yes, but I was missing something here, not sure if I’ve read too many of these but I was missing a UMPF a CLIMAX BOOM it feels like!

NEW TO ME author and books! This was something very new to me when it comes to the trope and type. I unfortunately was not 100% able to connect only because it was mostly one-sided love, a Unrequited love if you will. The Ag-Gap did not help for me, that is one trope I was wary about. There I say the characters were a bit immature for me. But that is my style, I really wanted to push myself out there with this type. Also it had a HUGE trigger for me (Love-triangle/sharing) I don’t want to give out much but that is a HUGE trigger of mine. I twas hard for me to fully finish invested.
That said I really am not sure how to go about this review without obviously sounding out my dislikes because that’s what happens when one has triggers in a book and or dislikes in actions, characters or events. I thought I could kind of get with it I guess but it felt like a YA version of dark and biker MC type, the romance was minimal in this one. It is very erotic and sexy. I just, I feel bad I couldn’t connect but it really was not for me or my type, I wanted to give it a try, I will say that I appreciate the authors words and writing because it flowed very well and the words worked, it was just the style of story and characters did not work for me. I appreciate a chance to REVIEW this.

Not my first read by the author, and I have read many on/off. So far it’s been 50/50 with the author’s books but I keep coming back because the ones I have loved I REALLY loved. This one was something different for me from the author.
I was on the fence about this one, it really started promising for me but the more I got into it the more I was feeling overwhelmed, it starts of in the US and migrates to France which I don’t have a problem with but I sadly have to say that there was TOO MUCH French and accent for me…I don’t mind it at all but this was overwhelming for me. The heroine is a easy going, sassy, true american and the hero is a Frenchman on a mission, rude, broody and very handsome. This is a office-romance type of feel, unfortunately I did not feel this one, just couldn’t connect fully, I kept trying to fully understand all the French and well the heroine just rubbed me wrong, she was just too simple and the hero there was huge potential there. *Just because it did not work for me doesn’t mean it won’t work for you.

“I need to live the one life I have.” Pushing against my hands, I stood up. “I can’t let you take over. I won’t.”
Not my first read by the author but new enough where I have only read one other book by her. What caught me was the blurb and cover, glad I gave this a chance. Celebrity romance isn’t usually my go to, just something about it is too clique for me, this was a 50/50 for me, I had a little bit of a harder time connecting to it all.
What really did work for me was that I was captive to the story, I could feel it and relate to some too but again mostly it has to do because I don’t tend to read the trope and it’s over-read for me. Justin was NOT my favorite the entire book, to me he was too immature and yes he is young but it went over the line for me. I was able to predict the story line a little but again really want to express that the author’s words kept me captive.

NEW TO ME AUTHOR & BOOKS. I was contacted by the author for a read/review and after reading the blurb it sounded like something for me. I am glad that I gave this a chance, I really enjoyed the read. Also I really loved the heroine’s name.
Zina the heroine is a interesting character, she is actually compelled with her life, at least to what she thinks. And Niklaus is a wow hero, he really is set on Zina and to prove himself and win he rover. This fast-pace romance was exciting, fun, romantic and even a little suspense and mystery. Diverse characters and it’s set in London, which I always enjoy reading about, in this you really get the view of London (very well researched and or experienced) little bit a different tone than I am used to but I was able to connect. So I do want to say that I was a little A LOT hesitant of the hero, he definitely works hard for it but there were a lot of moments I simply wanted him to accidentally fall off a cliff BUT a huge BUT Zina put it all together for me and HELD it together. Powerful read! There is a sequel to this book coming November 2020!

This is a new to me author and what caught my eye was the blurb, something i was excited to read. that said, it being a new to me, I wasn’t sure of the style of writing…it’s always works out or not when it’s a new author and can’t blame anyone when a reader can’t connect with anything regarding the book. Unfortunately i was not able to fully connect with the heroine and hero himself. It came down to the style of writing and over all characters for me. Nothing in particular just the overall. Now that said, the plot was great, little predictable but teacher romances can happen like that. It’s a second chance, little enemy to then friends to lovers, single dad, forbidden relationship. The hero and heroine dated for a summer in HS, after having her heart straight up broken she moves away in hopes of better and for 12 years she did. i forgot to mention that heroines mother was a harlot. It’s complicated. the hero kind of reminds me of the everyday jock that has it all, grown up but still tendencies and actions of a young adult type. Just could not connect with them and some of their actions. the story line definitely knew what was coming for most of the book, transitions were smooth. I’ve wanted to read this author for a while now and glad i gave it a chance.
