Not my first read by the author and I LOVE NATASHA and have read all of her books. The fact that she is amazing on it’s own then she goes and gifts me with the ability to read this book before it’s even promoted. I SCREAMED!
I loved everything about this. It’s a grumpy hero/sunshine heroine and it takes place at a boat oh excuse me yacht marina. Yes Vivienne goes and buys a boat. It wasn’t really well thought through but she loved it all in the same. When she first arrived she was unsure but as soon as she stepped foot and felt the calm and listened to the water slowly splashing, it all made sense to her. Until she runs into her grumpy mean looking neighbor that has the sweetest cutest dog. Xavier has been living the boat life for 2 years after he left the one thing that is most dear to him, hockey. After a rough fall out with his team due to something that is never talked about in the sports industry, he drops it all, buys a yacht and decides this is for him. He travels from FL for the winter and summers in NY. He is content on being alone and his adorable little pup who happens to be his support dog. When Vivi moves in next door he is not going to like her, he was determined at least I’ll give him that. She is most def the biggest sunshine and breaks through to the grumpy man next door. When they start spending some time together you can’t deny their chemistry. The great thing about this is that Vivi is just so amazing, when she finds out who he is she doesn’t go crazy to search about him and let’s him come to her. When he does she ends up sharing her big secret, and what a big secret it is, even her family doesn’t know yet. They are so sweet and sensual and amazing together, I loved every page of it. There may or may not also be some very steamy sexy hot yacht sex SO! Vivienne shows Xavier what life can be and how amazing of a man he is and Xavier opens up life to Vivienne. These two are the Perfect fit together!
